Back to the proverbial drawing board ~ painting apples again. Just embarked on some new lessons, this time with Tim Shelbourne from The Artists’ Quarter. After watching the same videos 4 or 5 times I think I’m finally “getting” some of it. I don’t know why Corel Paint seems to have such a high learning curve for me, but am determined to stick with it. In fact, to focus on lessons I am absent from Flicker, 500px, and Facebook until I feel I can tackle these lessons. While lessons did not include painting an apple, it is what I was comfortable with 🙂
I will be posting images here until I get back into the swing of things. At least it will let you all know that I am still wielding those digital brushes!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend ~ and what is new with you? Are you tackling anything artsy? What lies on the horizon for you? Maybe some lessons for the New Year? While working on these, the next thing I’ll be tackling is the Thanksgiving dinner ~ first time for everyone to come “home” to the new house. I hope you are looking forward to Thanksgiving as much as I am.
Stay tuned, more to come. . .
