I have “painted” this image previously, but never really did it justice. I have learned a bit more since that time so gave it another “go”. I’m much happier with the result this time. I remember this day, walking through Soreze ~ Debbie had to stop and get some of the doughnut holes she liked ~ and we heard this wonderful music floating toward us. This young man appeared to be on his lunch break. He was wearing a leather apron for protection in whatever type work he was doing. He unfolded his chair, tucked his backpack and case underneath, and began playing. Let me tell you, it made those doughnut holes heavenly!
I am looking forward to going back to the South of France in June ~ I really must have some of those doughnut holes again.
