Spotlighting the works of a few students that Marie Otero and I toured around Southern France with. Above, you see Le Plus Beaux Monsier, by Terry Rowe, which she painted while in France. This fine fellow was a short walk up the hill in Durfort, France.
This charming bicyclist was captured by Micky Masters Barnett. It was market day in Revel, France, and everyone heads for the town square to purchase the freshest produce, meats, cheeses, flowers, etc. This subtle watercolor paint works very well for the scenes of everyday life.
These images were painted by Phyllis Meadlin Kaupp, aka PK. I believe she captured the breeze in Revel very well! And the still life of Nese’s window at La Cascade where we stayed is wonderful ~ those tomatoes and that basil filled Nese’s kitchen with a fabulous aroma.
More student work coming soon. Until then, congrats on the wonderful paintings that came out of the studio space in Southern France!
Here’s to the next adventure!
