Working on Images

Against the Sky

Yes, I’m working on images and deciding which ones will be used for tutorials and demos.  Preparing lots of hand-outs in PDF format for the Charlotte workshop in October.  I always like to get a start on things early so there is plenty of time to put textures with images and prepare notes and put together the whole package.

These sunflower petals leaping into the sky will be one of the tutorials.  All images and textures will be provided as well as lots of “extras” that I think you’ll want to know about Corel Painter X3.  You will even get “my workflow” on how I take an image from the camera all the way to final painterly print.  It may not be everyone’s work flow, but I will be sharing how I do what I do.  So if you are signed up and headed to Charlotte be sure to bring all your questions . . .

And you will receive even more ~ since you will have two instructor’s brains to pick!  Marie Otero will be sharing many of her fine art photography secrets in the way of processing, including PhotoShop painting with custom brushes, HDR toning, using a few Plug-Ins, and how to get the best use from those blending modes, just to name a few.

Many thanks to those who have signed up ~ we are looking forward to pushing pixels with you.

I’m off to cooler temps for a few days ~ ocean breezes are calling.  It’s that time of year when we like to escape the 100*+ weather here in the valley and slip off to the coast.  Be back soon . . .
